Science never disproved God
Nothing in the scientific record compels disbelief in God. What often gets sold as a scientific verdict is philosophy — metaphysical naturalism — wearing a lab coat.
The manifesto
Measurement is not worldview. A spectrometer tells you about spectra. A collider constrains particle models. Neither instrument returns a reading that says “God is false.” When someone claims science has settled theism, ask what observation would have settled it the other way — and whether their conclusion still depends on premises no experiment tested.
Distinguish methodological naturalism from metaphysical naturalism. The first is a research stance: explain the apparatus without invoking the supernatural mid-experiment. The second is a worldview: nature is all there is. Science routinely uses the first. It does not prove the second. Conflating them is how atheism borrows the authority of physics without paying the cost of argument.

Call out the smuggle. The illicit move is familiar: the equation doesn’t need God → God is false. Silence in a model is not ontological denial. Laplace did not need God in celestial mechanics; that fact does not entail that God does not exist. “No God in the differential equation” is a statement about the scope of the model. Treating it as a disproof of theism is a category error — confident, popular, and still an error.

Defense of God exists to keep the ledger honest: math and science on their own terms; philosophy labeled as philosophy; no kitsch, no culture-war theater — only the claim that “science disproved God” does not survive careful inspection.
Thesis
Nothing scientific supports a decisive claim against theism. Arguments presented as scientific disproofs typically smuggle in philosophical assumptions that science neither requires nor justifies.
